Portrait of Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo – a holy priest from Naples, to whom Jesus said: “A thousand prayers are not worth as much as this one act of surrender: Jesus, I entrust myself to You, take care of everything!”. He was a mystic and wrote over 220,000 imaginette – small holy cards with prophetic words addressed to a specific person. He was highly esteemed by Padre Pio, who often sent people in need to Fr. Dolindo. Many supernatural events took place around him, and he received numerous graces. The holiness of this priest was expressed in his humility and the way he followed Christ throughout his entire life. He wrote: “… always remain in intimacy with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and with the Most Holy Mother.In this way, you will never get lost on the difficult path of life (…) go to confession (…), confession, the sacraments – this is the most important thing.”

The mission of Fr. Dolindo was to make God’s love known to the world and to show every person that he or she is His beloved child. Many inspiring books and films have been created about him.
